The water was so still that mountains, sky, and forest became a single surface. For a moment, it was almost impossible to tell where reality ended and its reflection began.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It was not the scale of the landscape that fascinated me. It was its calm. That stillness made the lake feel larger than it really was and gave each small detail space of its own. I wanted to preserve precisely that feeling in the photographs.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The film behind the photography project<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the film, I show what I noticed along the way and which decisions led to the photographs.<\/p>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Was ich an diesem stillen Bergsee gefunden habe\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/xy1W99HQPyQ?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The photographic challenges<\/h2>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Finding Calm Among So Many Shapes<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At first, the landscape was overwhelming. Mountains, water, rocks, mist, and countless small details competed for attention. Only through deliberate reduction did clear compositions emerge, giving individual shapes enough room to breathe.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Preserving Reflections and Contrast<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The dark water reflected mountains, clouds, and shoreline, but even a light wind could change its appearance. Bright areas of mist and deep shadows lay close together.
