Two mushrooms emerge in warm light, while almost everything around them disappears.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A Piece of Forest Becomes a World of Its Own<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The light traces the delicate gills beneath the mushroom cap. The background recedes; shapes and surfaces command all the attention. These unassuming subjects interest me because they are easily overlooked in ordinary forest light.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here, reduction determines the effect. A small illuminated area is enough to create depth, warmth and an almost mysterious atmosphere. The darkness is more than an empty background.
