Along the way, I watched the lines of the land, searched for quiet forms, and remembered places I wanted to return to with my camera.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the evening, I pitched my tent and let the impressions of the day settle. Only on the return journey the following day did I deliberately stop at the places I had noticed. Now it was about photography and the few things that suddenly become meaningful in an uninhabited landscape.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The film behind the photography project<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the film, I show my journey through the landscape and how the photographs came into being.<\/p>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Wie fotografiert man eine Landschaft, in der scheinbar nichts passiert?\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/gsahFmryxSo?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The photographic challenges<\/h2>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Weather and Visibility<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dense fog and heavy rain shaped the first day. Entire parts of the landscape kept disappearing. Sometimes I could only make out the suggestion of a subject and had to remember it for the journey back.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Beauty of Less<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This barren landscape offers few obvious eye-catchers. Individual stones, low vegetation, water, and wide open spaces had to become compositions whose strength lay in their simplicity.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Seeing Twice<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I discovered many potential photographic locations on the outward journey. I returned to them deliberately a day later. By then, the light, visibility, and atmosphere had changed. A place I had discovered now had to become an image.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Space Behind the Photographs<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The exact locations of the photographs remain part of the journey.
