This bellflower stands in the fog like a small sign of endurance, a reminder that beauty lives in the unassuming. Its soft violet colour emerges from the grey background as though it were saying: I am still here, even when the world around me fades into mist.<\/p>\n
For me, this way of seeing is what makes photography so special: discovering the small within the vast, the quiet within the noise. I took this photograph last autumn on a mountain pass, on a cool, damp day.
