Autumn has its own melancholy. It is neither loud nor truly sad, more like a quiet remembrance, a gentle glance backwards.
\nIts light carries warmth and wistfulness at once. You can feel the world changing, everything in motion, beauty and transience inseparably bound together.<\/p>\n

This little berry, marked by rain and time, hangs alone from a branch. Its shine has faded, its skin has wrinkled, and yet there is a quiet dignity to it. It tells of summer, light, life and letting go.<\/p>\n

I took this photograph on a short autumn walk with my camera.
\nThe morning was cool, the air still, and everything was wrapped in that subdued light only autumn seems to know.<\/p>\n

Perhaps this is what touches me about such moments: they show how closely beauty and transience belong together. Autumn reminds us that nothing lasts forever, and that there can be deep peace in accepting that.
