Sometimes beauty appears in places where you would never expect to find it.
\nI took this photograph beside a dead tree in the forest. Beneath the trunk, hidden in shadow, hung a delicate spiderweb, so fine and inconspicuous that it was barely visible in the natural morning light.<\/p>\n

Only when I took out my small lamp and shone it carefully beneath the trunk did the web come alive. Tiny droplets suddenly began to glow, as if someone had scattered sparks across it. Without that light, they would have remained invisible, lost in the darkness beneath the old wood.<\/p>\n

A faint breeze set the web swaying, and the droplets sparkled for a brief moment before slipping back into shadow.
\nIt was a delicate dance between appearing and disappearing, a moment so fleeting it almost did not exist, yet one with remarkable depth.<\/p>\n

I called this photograph 'Captured Glow' because, for just one moment, the light seemed to be caught inside those droplets.
\nNot held there, merely touched in passing. As if something unseen were saying, for a single breath: I am here too.<\/p>\n

For me, moments like these are at the heart of my approach to macro photography. They are not found along obvious paths or in the places everyone notices, but where everything seems dark.
\nYou have to be willing to bring light into places no one looks. Then these small wonders reveal themselves: fleeting, delicate and precious.<\/p>\n

This photograph is just one of several images I made during that forest walk.
