There is hardly any snow. The ground is bare and dark. And yet it is cold. The lake is frozen. Its surface is smooth and sealed. The water rests beneath a thin layer of ice.<\/p>\n
A single branch lies above the ice. Beneath it, its reflection is almost an exact match. Above and below are barely distinguishable. The composition is reduced and clear.<\/p>\n
Nothing moves. The moment stands still.<\/p>\n
Photographs like this emerge when you add nothing. When you wait and accept that very little is happening.<\/p>\n
