High waves strike the rocks of the Atlantic coast. Beneath heavy clouds, white foam and turquoise water break over the dark stone.
The Restless Side of the Atlantic
Not every encounter with the sea is quiet. Sometimes its movement itself reveals a clear form: a rising wave, a bright edge of spray, a dark area that holds everything together.
What interests me in this photograph is the brief moment when the water reveals all its energy. The movement is allowed to remain visible. It is the true subject of the image. And despite its force, I am still looking for a clear arrangement of waves, horizon and rocks.
