An early morning in the Norwegian mountains. The air is clear and almost cool. Before the sun has even warmed the day, a fine mist lies across the lake. There is no wind at all, no sound to break the silence, no movement to ripple the water.
It is in moments like these that perfect reflections appear. The mountains, the sky, the delicate lines of trees: everything is reflected with remarkable clarity in the smooth water. It is as though the landscape has doubled, revealing another world so close and yet beyond reach.
Such conditions are rare and precious. The combination of stillness, light and moisture creates a special atmosphere. In the early morning light, colours, contrasts and textures seem more intense, almost graphic. The camera hardly has to do anything. The light does the work.
This photograph captures one of those rare moments when everything comes together. It is not spectacular in the traditional sense, but it is precisely that stillness and balance that make it special.

Ein ganz tolles Beispiel für die beschriebene Stimmung und eine sehr schöne Spiegelung! Da hat der Blick viel Spielraum, man schaut, was ist Spiegelung und was ist echt… sehr lohnend, durch die schönen Strukturen.
