The day still rests in its first silence. The sun has only just climbed above the horizon, brushing the land with cool light and wrapping the world in a silver haze.
I stood on the shore, alone with the rocks, the wind and my thoughts. The air was fresh, almost cutting. Not a strong storm, but that clear, wakeful wind that seems to whisper in your face: the day is beginning.
The photograph you see here is a long exposure. The moving sea becomes smooth, almost soft, as if it were falling silent for a moment. But the rocks remain, mute and steadfast. They seem like guardians at the edge of the world, shaped by light, shadow and time.
I tried to show not only what was there, but what it felt like to stand there. It is not a spectacular location, and that is part of its power. A place to feel, to see and to become still.

Diese Weite tut dem Blick gut!
Geduckt liegen die Steine, wie in guter Nachbarschaft miteinander. Eine Ver(An)sammlung, die erwartet was da kommen mag. Die Wolken verheißen nichts Schlimmes, es ist genügend Platz für die Sonne. Was könnte geschehen? Möwen könnten landen oder ein Schiff am Horizont entlang gleiten. Vögel könnten über ihnen kreisen, Flugzeuge weit oben Streifen an den Himmel schreiben… Es könnte auch ein Fotograf vorbeikommen, der sich die Stimmung genau ansieht und die Zeitzeugen im Wasser liegen sieht, als Botschafter dieses Fleckchens Natur. Jemand, der die Steine wahrnimmt und im Bild verewigen möchte. Ganz nach seiner inneren Einstellung und Stimmung für diesen Moment….Liebe Grüße,
